The Bachelor in Health Sciences aims to train students with theoretical, methodological and practical skills for support activities in the health sector related to:

  • Research and innovation
  • Health education
  • Prevention and health promotion

Training objectives

During the Bachelor's degree, specific orientations are offered such as: food biology, pharmacology, nutrition, health-safety-environment, connected health, nursing sciences, rehabilitation sciences, Bachelor's degree in Health Access (LAS), etc. Bachelor's degree holders mostly continue their studies (Master's, specialized school, grandes écoles, etc.) to train for careers in health, the environment, pharmacology, biotechnology, and the food industry.

Advantages of the training

At the end of the Bachelor of Science in Health:

  • The student will have acquired a body of multidisciplinary knowledge, both in fundamental life sciences and in physicochemical, biological, pharmacological, toxicological sciences, etc.
  • The student will have acquired the necessary scientific and technical knowledge in the areas of design and manufacturing of medicines and other health products.

    – capacity for abstraction, logic and modeling
    – very good command of the classical and experimental skills expected in physics, chemistry, life and earth sciences, mathematics at the end of the final year of high school
  • Have good communication skills, particularly aimed at demonstrating:
    – ability to communicate in writing and orally in a rigorous and appropriate manner
    – ability to obtain documentation in at least one foreign language, preferably English, and desired ability in writing and speaking at level B
  • Have good methodological and behavioral knowledge and skills
    aimed in particular attesting to:
    – learning capacity: curiosity, ability to organize and conduct learning
    – ability to provide a very large amount of personal work: being able to schedule it and stick to it over time
  • Have human qualities, empathy, kindness and listening skills in all sectors leading to health professions

Summary of lessons by course

Scientific courses are offered (in chemistry, physics, computer science, mechanics, biology, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, pharmacy, galenics, etc.), as well as in human and social sciences, Information and Communication Technologies for Teaching (TICE), in communication and in English.
