Training summary

The JPP Master prepares students for different legal careers (lawyer, magistrate, justice commissioner). It therefore prepares them for the various exams and competitions for legal professions. 

This training fits perfectly with the research carried out within the Legal Research Center (CRJ) on people, vulnerable groups, etc.

Training aims

This Master's degree aims to offer training in the field of judicial procedures and techniques. It responds to a demand from professionals in the legal world who want graduates to strengthen their procedural skills, be trained in judicial techniques and become directly operational.

The first ambition of this training is therefore to enable the acquisition of in-depth knowledge in procedural matters. The second ambition is to tend towards the mastery of procedural techniques and the discovery of tools which are the daily life of professionals (scales, forms, etc.). Finally, the third ambition of the training is to strengthen the level of general culture of students.

More generally, the aim is to facilitate students' access to legal professions and those of justice officers.

Summary of lessons by course

In master 1, the significant sharing with the two pre-existing master's degrees in private law (business law and property law) induces transversal knowledge.

Courses specific to the JPP specialty: special criminal law of persons, law of evidence, internal and European procedural law, legal and judicial culture, law of evidence, internal and European procedural law, special criminal law of property are also provided there. .

In master 2, all the lessons are specific to the training with different modules: disciplinary, evolution of contemporary justice, culture and openness, techniques and procedures, professional practice and professional immersion.
