Training summary
The MEEF Master's in Training Practices and Engineering (PIF) – Research in Education is a very rich training in and through research (more than 170 hours of teaching in methodology, epistemology, collaborative research and field study).
This content is designed to allow the student to master different approaches and procedures as well as in-depth knowledge of the tools for collecting and analyzing the data that can be used when carrying out research work.
The educational research course also provides interdisciplinary training which allows for a cross-fertilization of views on socio-educational facts.
Finally, complex, critical and reflective thinking occupies a preponderant place in this course.
Training objectives
The educational research course is aimed at students wishing to work on educational issues from a multi- and interdisciplinary perspective. This course allows them to follow a diverse set of courses in order to deepen their knowledge relating to the field of education and training.
It prepares access to a thesis, particularly in educational sciences. In addition, the course aims to strengthen critical, reflective and complex thinking. In this perspective, it participates, through epistemological and methodological theoretical contributions, in the formation of the scientific mind.

Thanks to this multi- and interdisciplinary training via scientific partnerships, students have the opportunity to participate in research work. Cohort monitoring is organized over three years.
