Situation
You cannot read text with poor contrast. Or, you can't pass the Captcha of a form: you are faced with an accessibility problem.
Information
Your digital documents must not present any obstacles to consultation for people with disabilities. People sailing with assistive technologies must not lose any information.
Recommendations
Respect the following 7 rules:
- I structure my page by correctly using the different levels of titles provided by my writing tool;
- I pay attention to the contrast between the text and the background so that it is sufficient;
- I write understandable links and I ban the term “click here”;
- I use images in an accessible way, not forgetting the alternative when necessary;
- I prohibit PDF images (scans) or I provide an accessible alternative that allows voice reading and text searching;
- I use bulleted or numbered lists wisely;
- I do not justify my text and I do not make multiple line breaks.
