I am blind and would like to watch a documentary with audio description that was recommended to me. This option is not available on the platform. Therefore, I cannot fully enjoy the film; my understanding remains limited.
Information
Audio description is a set of techniques that allows audio descriptions to be added to audiovisual content to make it accessible to blind or visually impaired people. Knowing who is speaking, where you are, what is happening—all relevant information conveyed visually—must not be lost.
In some cases, audio description can be dispensed with by design by integrating relevant information through a voice-over, for example, or direct instructions from the speakers.
