The German Department of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Reunion Island is proud to present an exceptional exhibition in honor of the 35th anniversary of German Unification, organized in partnership with the German Embassy in France.

The year 2025 marks a new stage in this commemoration. Come and relive the key moments in Germany's recent history, from the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 to Reunification in 1990, an event that profoundly reshaped Europe.

Our objective: To pay tribute to this history and highlight the vitality of German studies at the University of Reunion Island, recalling the importance of the German language and culture in the current European context.
