Women researchers

On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, the Stella Matutina Museum and the University of La Réunion are joining forces to offer a round table with three researchers from the university

This round table will begin with presentations from each of these researchers and will end with an exchange with the public.

Anne Bialecki, university professor, director of the Chembiopro laboratory, faculty of science and technology at the University of Reunion.
Chemistry and Biodiversity: a real encounter.
Hélène Caillet, temporary teaching and research associate at the IUT of the University of Reunion, author of a thesis on the valorization of sugar cane vinasse.
From stillage to household waste, how can we recycle what we usually throw away?
Florence Callandre, lecturer in Indian Ocean civilization, faculty of letters and human sciences at the University of Reunion.
“Maryamèn, the Lady of Smallpox, Touké Karli, the Herbal Tea Maker, and Védarlon, the Healer” Epidemics, astral illnesses, Hindu myths and therapeutic practices in Reunion.

This round table will be held on Wednesday March 8, from 14:30 p.m. to 16:30 p.m., in the auditorium of the Stella Matutina Museum.
