What is it ?

Le France Culture Student Novel Prize aims to promote encounters between the actors of today's French literature and young people, by allowing student judges each year to:

• Read 5 novels written in French, from the literary season and pre-selected by the editorial staff of France Culture
• Meet 5 authors during events organized in universities, BUs and partner bookstores
• Share their opinions with each other and refine their critical sense
• Elect their winner and influence the literary season

Who can participate?

Any student enrolled in a higher education establishment.  

To register, the student must send a review of the last novel they have read either in writing – 10 lines – or by video lasting 1 minute

A confirmation email will validate your participation in the jury. You will then receive the PDF links of the 5 novels in the running.

Student jurors, selected throughout France and from all sectors, will be able from October to mid-December:

• Read 5 novels selected by France Culture
• Meet their 5 authors at participating universities and/or online
• Share and debate with each other on social networks
• Vote online for their favorite and award the prize to the winner
