The violentometer
From November 25 to 29, your Equality Service will present the violentometer, a tool developed by the City of Paris to measure the risks of violence in a couple.
A distribution of violentometers is also planned for first-year undergraduate students, the aim being to raise awareness among all campus users (students and staff). This quick analysis will allow everyone to position themselves and draw their own conclusions.
Intervention by "Tikok"
This animation, in collaboration with the artist Zéro, highlights the violentomètre. He will play the character of Tikok, imagined from the Creole nickname “Kok la kour,” a rooster seeking to assert himself through “manly” aggression. But here, Tikok is also a modern rooster who wants to improve his romantic relationship. To get help, he will travel around campus and share his faults with a group of people. They will choose poems, called fonn'kèr, to illustrate the problems related to his relational behavior. This journey will lead him to confront the consequences of his actions while seeking to improve himself.
These different interactions will allow it to go from red to green. Participants will be able to immortalize their experience by taking photos and sharing them on social networks with the hashtag #tikokanver.
Exhibition of books and DVDs on violence against women
From 25 to 29, the Common Documentation Service (SCD) of the University of La Réunion will offer a special selection of books and films. This thematic collection aims to raise awareness, inform and encourage reflection on issues of violence against women. Accessible to all, these resources will allow for a better understanding of the issues and realities of this scourge, while offering varied perspectives and testimonies.

“Emergency Exit” Comic Strip Exhibition
The Equality Service, the Audiovisual and Digital Culture Service of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, as well as the Issue de Secours association are delighted to invite you to the exhibition "Issue de Secours" This exhibition, in the form of a comic strip, illustrates the gradual deterioration of a romantic relationship, highlighting the psychological and social aspects of domestic violence. Elena and Vlad are a young student couple. The story begins when they move into an apartment together. Everything is radiant, full of promise, happiness, and success. However, things will not turn out as Elena imagined... Throughout the story, a narrator will be present, in the form of a small avatar of the artist-author T. His role will be to accompany the reader and explain, more precisely, certain situations experienced by the characters.

Exhibition "Fight against violence against women and girls"
This exhibition, in collaboration with the CROUS du Moufia, addresses different themes such as rape, virtual violence, non-consensual marriages, the weight of tradition… with each time, a reminder of the law. The goal: to talk about violence so that victims dare to talk about it in turn. “Because violence against women is a reflection of a Society where the question of masculine domination remains at the center of many situations. Love has nothing to do with violence.” Violence against women feeds on stereotypes of Society, trivialization, sexist remarks, the indifference of each person, which lead to denial or underestimation of the suffering experienced. The exhibition takes the form of QR Codes displayed on the gates of the cafeteria of the Moufia campus, scanning them refers to the digital exhibition.
To be seen from November 26 to 29 at the Crous cafeteria – Moufia Campus
