My thesis in 180 seconds is a competition that allows doctoral students to present, in simple terms, their thesis subject, all in three minutes and not a second more. In addition, each spectator will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite candidate.

The international

After training in writing and public speaking, candidates are ready for present their research to you in an understandable manner. The rules are simple: they must not exceed 180 seconds, otherwise they will be eliminated from the competition.
To decide between the doctoral students, a jury will have the difficult task of naming the jury's first and second prize. To do this, he will judge the presentations on several criteria: eloquence, putting research into context, presentation of results or expected results.

The public will also have their say, after all the candidates have passed, you will be able to vote for your favorite candidate. He will thus have a chance to win the public prize.

The first jury prize and the public prize will go to Paris for the national semi-final to represent Reunion research among doctoral students from across the country.
