Documentary – Frida Kahlo

Biographical references to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954). His childhood memories, his
painful memories too: poliomyelitis which, at the age of six, atrophied his right leg, his
terrible bus accident in 1925, her miscarriages, the incessant surgical interventions.
Painting becomes the fight of his existence.

Musical comedy – Evita

1952. Eva Peron died prematurely of cancer while she was about to become vice-president of her country. Argentina mourns this peasant woman whose meteoric rise and fight in defense of the poor changed the course of its history.
This opera film evokes the life of this woman who, according to Alan Parker, experienced “an incredibly original personal destiny and an extraordinarily strong political history”.
