Zinos, a young restaurateur in Hamburg, is going through a bad time. His girlfriend Nadine has moved to Shanghai, the customers of her restaurant, the Soul Kitchen, are ignoring the gourmet cuisine of her new chef, a talented personality, and he has back problems! Zinos decides to join Nadine in China, and entrusts his restaurant to his brother Illias, recently released from prison. These two decisions turn out to be disastrous: Illias loses the restaurant gambling to a crooked real estate developer, and Nadine has someone else in her life!
