Thousands of kilometers south of Buenos Aires, three characters travel along the deserted roads of Southern Patagonia. Don Justo, an 80-year-old retiree and former owner of a drugstore run by his son, flees his home to escape his influence. He leaves to find his missing dog that a friend claims to have seen in San Julian... Roberto, a sales representative in his forties, makes the same journey in his old car, taking with him a very bulky load: a cream cake, a birthday gift for the son of a young widow he covets... The same day, Maria Flores, 25, finds herself with her granddaughter on the same road. This young woman was the winner to participate in the final of a game show. Everyone travels in their own way, but these stories and illusions will intersect.
