Description of the WEU
Learning capoeira allows you to develop knowledge of an Afro-Brazilian martial art, rich in crossbreeding, and to work on the body and mind. In addition to the technical movements of movement, attacks and defenses, the capoeirista will have to learn the songs and musical instruments to animate the “roda”. Capoeira is practiced in a friendly environment which facilitates exchanges between individuals. This discipline can also serve as a mediator for problem solving by learning to change one's point of view and manage power relations.
At the end of this UEO, the student must be able to:
- Know the history of the origins of capoeira
- Explain how a roda works
- Practice at least one capoeira musical instrument
- Act individually on the balance of power
- Develop your motor skills and learn to express yourself using your body (coordination, speed, endurance, flexibility, etc.)
WHAT DO I LEARN? Targeted RNCP skill blocks
- Implementation of methods and tools from the disciplinary field
Other specific skills
Express yourself and communicate orally, in writing, and in at least one foreign language
