UEO open to students in international exchange programs
For students in an exchange program, registration is made directly with the International Relations Department (without going through the registration platform dedicated to the UEO).

Description of the WEU
The objective of this UEO is the discovery of postural education through the practice of weightlifting.
The reasoned, balanced and adapted practice of weightlifting is a quality support for preventing and resolving postural problems (back pain, muscular tension, stress, etc.).
Using this teaching is essential to:
- Gestural education (picking up and carrying a load, sitting correctly, etc.)
- To raise awareness of the need to protect your body through precise actions and consistent muscle strengthening.
- Preparation for future physical life as a worker (office or field, etc.)
- Prevention and reduction of back problems that affect our society
- Prevention of osteoporosis
WHAT DO I LEARN? Targeted RNCP skill blocks
- Implementation of methods and tools from the disciplinary field
- Use of data for analysis purposes
Other specific skills
Being able to define your activity and take ownership of its internal logic
Be able to know the technical terms specific to the activity
Be able to describe the movements of the gestural repertoire of the disciplines and identify the general skills targeted
Be able to provide technical demonstrations of the gesture repertoire while respecting body positioning
