Description of the WEU

Born around the Second World War, television became a mass medium after this period. Heir to radio and cinema, it evolved over time between state media, private television, pay television, before experiencing a major upheaval with the arrival of the Internet, then streaming platforms. By following only the question of the development of fiction, in France and the United States, this UEO proposes to show how the interactions between this mass medium and society have shaped and changed perceptions over time.
