Description of the WEU
This UEO will attempt to present the proposals of artists who were able, through their choices and their implications, to question prejudices, expectations, or even the social codes established by society.
We will focus on representative examples of the artists' commitment through their works, by putting them into context (physically engaged proposals by the artist ORLAN, Courbet's 'forbidden' painting, or even invasive structures by the artist Yayoï Kusama) to try to question our representations through certain works.
