Description of the WEU
This UEO offers you another approach to maloya. Rouler, kayanm, bob, piker, sati now resonate fearlessly in public spaces and invite us to sing and dance. But did you know that this wasn't always the case?
Come discover with us the history of music, its uncertain journey, its passage from shadow to light.
You will subsequently be able to identify and define maloya based on its place and its roles in a Reunion Creole society of orality and contact of languages and cultures.
