Description of the WEU

At the turn of the 2000s, American television series experienced a real scriptwriting revolution: the birth of the semi-loop, densification of stories, more complex themes. The UEO "Decrypting series" offers students a journey to the heart of the scriptwriting of these series, through the eyes of theorist John Truby.

Using series from several different genres, students discover the specificities of serial writing and learn to read a script on screen.
