Validation of acquired experience – VAE

Definition

For who ? Any person, regardless of their age, nationality, status and level of training, who has at least 1 year of salaried or voluntary experience directly related to the certification in question, can claim the VAE.

Any person with or without recognized qualifications, wishing to acquire one, complete it or adapt it.

Why ? Obtain all or part of an existing diploma or title issued in the name of the State and higher education.

How? An orientation appointment can be offered to you if you are not sure of your approach in order to establish your professional project

Conditions

  • 1 year of experience, professional or extra-professional (associative, union, elective, voluntary, etc.) related to the desired diploma or professional title;
  • the diploma must be registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) and be proposed by the University of Reunion.

Cost

All candidates must pay:

  • Positioning costs
    • 50 euros for the study of the dematerialized admissibility file to be paid when the file is submitted, i.e.:
      • by check payable to the accounting officer of the University of La Réunion.
      • by Bank Card (CB).

In the event of a favorable opinion from the admissibility committee, the registration fees corresponding to the national rights (set by decree annually) are for the 2022-2023 academic year: 

  • 170 € for a License
  • €243 for a Master’s degree
  • €380 Doctorate and authorization to direct research
  • €601 Engineering degree
  • Mandatory “Reception and defense” service, for candidates who do not wish to be accompanied (2022-2023 price):
  • 800 € for individual payment.
  • €1 if covered by a financier.
  • Mandatory “Welcome and defense” service and recommended “Support” service, for candidates who wish to be supported (2022-2023 prices): (15 hours of support offered in the form of group and individual workshops)
  • 1270 € for individual payment.
  • €2 if covered by a financier or use of the Personal Training Account (CPF).
