Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Le Test Of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT) is an English certification that measures the ability to use and understand English. Administered by the University of La Réunion at the university level, it assesses written and oral comprehension and expression skills in a university context.
Duration: score certificate valid for two years.
Levels assessed: intermediate to advanced (0 to 120 points).
- B1: independent user: 42 to 71 points
- B2: independent user – advanced: 72 to 94 points
- C1: experienced user – autonomous: 95 to 120 points

Location of the tests: University Technology Park (Technopole), Certification Room (Room 32.4 – Building 3 – 2nd floor). To access the University Technology Park by leaving Boulevard Sud at Canal+. (See detailed itinerary).

All materials (draft, pen) are provided to you. You only need to bring your ID.
Plan something to eat during your lunch break.
During the test you will be equipped with a quality headset. Do not hesitate to speak clearly and distinctly. Discomfort caused by yourself and/or other candidates is part of the conditions of the tests.
During the last part assessing written expression, candidates must type their written productions on a QWERTY keyboard (American keyboard).
The total duration of the test varies depending on how quickly each person answers all the questions, but the Candidates generally finish the tests between 12:30 p.m. and 13:30 p.m.

Registration conditions
To register for the exams, users will be asked to complete STRICTLY an online application form and attach a student card (university student) or professional card (university staff), for a limited period (limited places). Appointment requests will no longer be processed by telephone.
La Maison Des Langues will schedule an appointment for registration and payment.
