The University of Reunion is organizing for the first time the Festival of Young Researchers of the Expérimentarium network.
Since 2001, the Experimentarium has regularly allowed young researchers from all disciplines to meet the general public during discussion workshops lasting around twenty minutes. It is not a question of offering courses, but of creating
a real dialogue between the public and researchers. Around experiences
or unusual objects, the researcher recounts his daily life, invites
questioning and takes the visitor to the heart of the research “in the process of

The Experimentarium is aimed at:

In 2015, one of the network's major actions was to invent an annual national meeting, bringing together around forty researchers trained at the Experimentarium. As part of the 2024 festival, around thirty researchers, surrounded by around ten mediators, will meet different audiences. To the 20 young local researchers will be added around ten doctoral students from Dijon, Besançon, Le Mans and Trois-Rivières (Quebec).

While previous festivals took place over 3 days, from Thursday to Sunday, the 2024 festival will take place over a full week, from Saturday May 18 to Friday May 24. Likewise, while French festivals took place in a single city, our festival extends throughout Reunion.
