How to vote?
The student elections will take place on Thursday March 09 from 08:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (Reunion time)
Each voter is attached to a single polling station.
The polling station of each voter is indicated on the electoral lists where it is registered.
Voting at the ballot box, electronic voting and postal voting are not authorized for these electoral operations.
Each voter can only vote for one list. To vote, you will need to present the original of the student or vocational training trainee card or apprentice card OR failing that, a school certificate, accompanied by one of the following proof of identity:
- National Identity Card
- Passport
- Driver's license
- Title of stay
No vote is possible without these supporting documents.

Who can vote by proxy?
Voters who cannot vote personally have the possibility of exercising their right to vote through a proxy, by giving them power of attorney to vote in their place.
How to make a power of attorney?
Powers of attorney cannot be drawn up on plain paper.
Each power of attorney is drawn up on a form numbered by the establishment. The principal must provide proof of his or her identity (passport, identity card or residence permit) when collecting the form.
The legibly written power of attorney must mention the surname and first name of the agent, and must be signed by the principal. It must neither be crossed out nor overprinted.
The proxy can be established until the day before the polls, Wednesday March 08, 2023, (Reunion time), and is registered by the establishment. The withdrawal of the form establishing the power of attorney can be done electronically.
The form can be collected in person from the Legal and Institutional Affairs Department of the University of Reunion located building B level -1 of the central administration in Moufia
How to withdraw a power of attorney?
In the context of withdrawing a power of attorney electronically, the principal sends his request for a form accompanied by a copy of an identity document from a professional email address or from an email address recognized by the University of Reunion (address of the University or any other partner research organization), to the following address: election@univ-reunion.fr
Once the form relating to the proxy has been duly completed, it must be returned no later than the day before the elections, i.e. Wednesday March 08, 2023, to the same email address (elections@univ-reunion.fr) no later than 16:00 p.m..
In order to ensure the efficient processing of powers of attorney, the principal must specify in the subject of his email request the body(ies) concerned:
- Board of Directors (CA)
- Research Commission (CR)
- Training and University Life Commission (CFVU)
No one may hold more than two proxies.
