Missions
The General Directorate of Services (DGS) contributes to the definition of the establishment's strategies, the development of the development project, and is responsible for its implementation. It is part of the conditions for exercising the management functions entrusted to the General Director of Services with regard to all engineering, administrative, technical, social and health personnel assigned to the establishment. .
As such, it has an advisory and information role for the management of the establishment, the component directorates, research units and services. The DGS is the direct contact for all of the establishment's services and structures.
Under the direct authority of the Director General of Services, the DGS has the particular responsibility of ensuring the economic sustainability and legal security of establishment projects. It also co-constructs management tools, in particular for diagnosis and support for the operationalization phase. It helps to organize the quality assurance process, the monitoring of performance indicators in all sectors of activity of the establishment and proposes, based on the guidelines defined by the head of the establishment, changes in the distribution of resources. . She coordinates the work of all entities and implements change management in a spirit of modernization and continuous improvement of the service provided on all of the establishment's sites. Finally, it ensures the interface with external partners (academic region, prefecture, local authorities, economic and social sectors).

The Human Resources Department (HRD) implements the university's policy on human resources management: recruitment, management of jobs, careers, training and remuneration of all staff.
As such, it has an advisory and information role for the management of the establishment, the component directorates, research units and services. The HR department is the direct contact for all staff for all aspects relating to their professional life. She is also responsible for implementing the establishment's social policy.

Missions
The finance and accounting department (DFC) is responsible for implementing the budgetary and financial policy of the establishment and leads the organization of budgetary operations. She is notably responsible for developing the budget, monitoring and controlling budget execution.
Furthermore, the DFC participates in the control of the establishment's financial commitments and their quality assurance. She is responsible for assisting financial managers and managers.
Finally, the mission of the Accounting Agency is to collect revenue and pay the university's expenses. She also keeps the accounts of the establishment and as such produces the financial account annually.

The Department of Support for Research, Innovation, Valorization and Partnerships (DRIVE) has taken a fundamental turn in recent years: that of combining support for the daily administrative and financial management of laboratories, and support for researchers. in the search for funding and the valorization of their results, while ensuring the promotion of a strong territorial and societal anchoring of research.

Missions
A pillar of the internationalization policy, the DRI is made up of two services.
The international relations and regional cooperation department (SRICR) is responsible for implementing the regional, European and international policy of the establishment in conjunction with the Councils, components and central services.
Its activities are organized around four main missions:
- the deployment of the establishment's international strategy through the establishment of international partnerships and support for initiatives and actions emanating from the UFR (faculties), laboratories or teacher-researchers of the University (negotiations with future partners, support through calls for projects, responses to calls for demonstrations, etc.).
- international mobility, ensuring the reception and monitoring of international students and serving as a one-stop shop for requests for financial aid from different donor partners (Réunion Region, LADOM, Ministry of Higher Education, etc.)
- engineering of international projects (internationalized training, international mobility and research projects in collaboration with DRIVE (Directorate of Support for Research, Innovation, Valorization and Partnerships)
- the promotion of internationalization through the development of a culture of international relations within the establishment and the promotion of the “Université de La Réunion” brand outside it.

The House of Languages implements the university's linguistic policy, which is deployed around 3 axes:
- training in languages for specialists in other disciplines (LANSAD) within the University and in foreign languages (English, Japanese, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, Portuguese, Malagasy, French as a foreign language, etc.) for all audiences
- certifications in English, Spanish and French as a foreign language
- the organization of cultural activities linked to the learning of the languages for which it offers teaching, such as the annual oriental and Indian Ocean film festival which is now an unmissable cultural event in Reunion and for the university.

Missions
The role of the Department of Lifelong Training (DFTLV) is to welcome, inform and advise the public in building their university career in continuing education and work-study training.
It constitutes the interface between UFRs, institutes and external partners such as local authorities (Regional Council, Departmental Council, General Council, town halls, etc.), private companies and organizations (business groups…unions). employers and unions, etc.), institutions, associations and various groups (DIECCTE, Pôle emploi, ARS, ANFH, etc.), and individuals.
The DFTLV also supports adults returning to studies and offers continuing training to companies or communities, employees in the private sector or public services, job seekers, unemployed young people or temporary workers.
The DFTLV also offers validation of acquired experience (VAE) which allows any person engaged in the active path to obtain all or part of a diploma by transforming their personal and/or professional experiences.

Missions
The Information Systems Department (DSI) has the mission of proposing and implementing information system policy in the field of computerized or digital processing of information relating to teaching, research, documentation and management. Its scope of action brings together all the components and services of the establishment.
As part of this mission, the IT department:
- anticipates developments imposed by the company's strategy, changes in the context, laws;
- provides a role of assistance to project management in addition to its essential role as project manager;
- orders projects from service providers (possibly internal);
- administers databases and application servers;
- ensures the maintenance of the proper functioning and evolution of the infrastructure;
- improves and develops the overall information system within the university, with a view to efficient IT;
- ensures access to information and applications;
- guarantee to users the reliability of services and the interoperability of repositories;

Missions
The Department of Innovation and Educational Engineering (D2IP) has the mission of supporting pedagogy and Information and Communication Technologies for Teaching (ICT). She participates in the establishment's digital strategy and implements the roadmap defined by the Vice-Presidents of Digital Uses and Training and University Life.
Mission details
D2IP trains and supports teachers and students through various mechanisms that it implements: project management and support, production of educational resources, training sessions, remote support, organization of ICT tutoring for students. She is in charge of the development of the Educational Information System.
Through active monitoring, continuous experimentation and support for ambitious projects, it maintains a dynamic of educational innovation for the establishment.
The D2IP:
- trains and supports teachers in their teaching practices using digital technology
- supports students in their educational uses of digital technology, particularly on ENT using a network of ICT tutors
- supports administrative staff through training sessions on the digital tools making up the Educational Information System
- informs and raises awareness among the university community about Digital Culture issues

The Art & Culture university service participates in the definition and implementation of the policy

University Service for Physical and Sports Activities (SUAPS)
Missions
The University Service for Physical and Sports Activities (SUAPS) has the mission of organizing physical and sports practices for all students and staff at the University of Reunion, whatever their level of practice.
Supervised by expert teachers, the courses offered allow you to practice various activities whether for leisure, for personal training or for assessed practice (UEL)
- Allow as many students as possible to freely access qualifying training through Free Education Units (EU)
- Build pdedicated training courses in physical sports, artistic and outdoor activities through Compulsory Education Units in collaboration with university components
- Allow students and staff to practicing sport for leisure
- Have a lively sports life with the organization of sporting events throughout the year: tournaments
- Provide training and competitions to the entire university community with personal training in physical, sporting, artistic and outdoor activities

University Service of Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion (SUMPPS)
Missions
The missions of the University Preventive Medicine Services (SUMPPS) include 3 priority areas which are:
- welcoming and listening,
- care and emergencies,
- prevention and health promotion.
Thus, the service aims to be a privileged and confidential welcome place where students can find answers to questions they have about their health (stress, nutrition, balanced diet, contraception, yoga, sport, etc.)
In the service of student success, also in supporting disability, we consider health as “capital” to be preserved and developed throughout life. We therefore organize prevention days as well as various training activities.

Missions
The Department of Studies and Training Management implements the establishment's policy and ensures the smooth running of procedures allowing the management of students and the progress of their studies.
She is in charge of:
- administrative management of students enrolled in the LMD course from registration to the delivery of diplomas,
- the modeling of teaching structures for the administrative part of training at the University of Réunion,

The Directorate of Control, Steering Assistance and Foresight (DCAPP) supports the establishment with its expertise in the definition, implementation, monitoring, self-evaluation and evaluation of its strategic and operational orientations. .
In an approach of transversality and global and continuous improvement of the functioning of the establishment, it supports the management and the various actors of the university through its operational support in terms of decision-making assistance and in the development of efficient management, particularly in the implementation of transformative projects aimed at modernizing the establishment.
As part of this approach to improving the monitoring and management of the establishment, it also manages the implementation of management control and contributes to the development of adapted, efficient and controlled management tools such as the Information System. Decision-making (SID), of which it coordinates the implementation, development and reliability within the university, in order to facilitate the monitoring of performance indicators in all sectors of activity of the establishment.
It contributes to the development, modernization, consistency and consolidation of the information system.
It also contributes to securing operational systems, strengthening and systematizing control systems, and in this context manages the implementation of internal control within the establishment as well as the coordination of the network of referents.
It participates in the dissemination of the culture of piloting.
