Educational goals :
The Bachelor of Arts degree develops students' critical thinking skills, their ability to analyze, synthesize, and argue effectively. It allows students to acquire a broad general knowledge of literature and the arts and to strengthen their language skills, including French and its Latin and medieval sources, as well as modern languages. At the same time, the program maintains a high standard in classical studies to prepare students for teaching certification exams. It also emphasizes the acquisition of methodological and technical skills in written and oral communication to ensure student success. It provides excellent preparation for careers in teaching, culture, publishing, documentation, and communication.

Course Description
Firstst The first year (L1) consolidates the knowledge acquired by incoming students (general baccalaureate level) in French Literature, methodology and language proficiency. It introduces them to new fields such as comparative literature, Francophone literature and linguistics.
Firstrd year (L2) refines the specialization with a rise in power in certain areas (such as theory).
Firstrd year (L3) completes this specialization while opening up more to inter and transdisciplinarity, based on a good mastery of fundamental knowledge and skills in Literature.
