The Dual Skills Framework (CDC) track of the Master in Management and Business Administration (MAE) offers a generalist and professional approach to management and business administration.
The program covers all of the organization's functions (finance, accounting, strategy, marketing, human resources, business law, logistics systems and production).
The training is based on a diversified pedagogy: lectures, thematic seminars, case studies, professional dissertation and synthesis case.
It is aimed at professionals returning to studies, students from other disciplines wishing to acquire dual skills, as well as job seekers aiming for a career change towards management professions.

Course Description
The Master 2 MAE – track Dual Skills Framework (DSF) offers a general management training program, designed to complement and enrich an initial disciplinary curriculum.
The teaching covers all the essential functions of the company:
- Economic and legal environment : labor law, business law, economic environment of organizations.
- Accounting and financial management : financial accounting, management accounting, financial diagnosis, management control.
- Strategic and operational management : strategy, logistics systems and production management, human resources management.
- Marketing and communication : marketing (levels 1 and 2), business English, psychosociology of work.
- Methods and tools : management information systems, survey management, thematic seminars.
- Integrative works : applied research paper and synthesis case study, allowing the application of acquired knowledge to a real and complex problem.
The pedagogy combines lectures, case studies, seminars and supervised projects, promoting the acquisition of a cross-functional and operational vision of the company.
The emphasis is on the professionalisation, with an applied dissertation and practical exercises, in order to prepare students for expanded responsibilities in a company or as part of a career change.

Specific teaching methods
Internships and supervised projects
The training does not include a mandatory internship.
However, it includes several integrative mechanisms centered on the student's project:
- Research paper: Supervised individual work, allowing the student to develop critical thinking on an issue related to their academic or professional project.
- Case study: a group situation that requires students to combine different management disciplines around a complex problem.
- Seminars and supervised projects: group work with written and oral presentation, promoting the practical application of acquired knowledge and the affirmation of the student's role in a project.
These programs, focused on showcasing each student's project, replace internships and ensure in-depth practical application of management skills.

- Mastery of the disciplinary foundations of the original initial training (law, science, health, engineering, social sciences, etc.).

General criteria for reviewing applications
Applications are reviewed based on a comprehensive analysis of the file by the academic committee, according to the following criteria:
- Suitability of previous academic background (Bac+4 or Bac+3 degree with significant experience outside of management).
- Relevance of professional and/or associative experience in relation to management or coordination responsibilities.
- Quality and coherence of the student's project: clearly formulated professional or academic objectives, putting the desired dual skill set into perspective with the previous career path.
- Motivation expressed in the application letter and confirmed during the interview.
- Academic results and previous evaluations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral business French.
- Evaluation during a selection interview, intended to assess motivation, analytical skills, project and the suitability of the candidate's profile with the expectations of the training.
Recommended qualifications for admission to the training program
- Master 1 or equivalent in a discipline other than management (law, science, health, engineering, social sciences, literature, etc.).
- Degrees from engineering schools or professional training programs at Bac+4 level.
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) supplemented by significant professional experience and validated by a validation of acquired skills procedure.

- Students in initial training: holders of a Master 1 (Bac+4) in a discipline other than management (law, science, health, engineering, social sciences, literature, etc.).
- Job seekers: holders of a Bac+4, or a Bac+3 with recognized experience, seeking a complementary specialization to facilitate their integration into management positions.
- Students from the Indian Ocean region: graduates from universities and colleges in Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros, Seychelles, Mayotte, wishing to obtain a French national diploma and develop managerial skills.

The MAE Master's program – CDC track – primarily prepares students for immediate professional integration.
However, it also allows students to pursue doctoral studies in the field of management science, or in a related discipline connected to their initial training.
This continuation is based on the research paper carried out in M2, which constitutes a first experience in scientific production.
