Training summary
The MEEF Master's degree in letters history - geography aims to prepare students for the recruitment competition for the Certificate of Aptitude for Vocational High School Teaching (CAPLP) in letters history - geography allowing the teaching of these subjects in vocational high schools. This master's degree aims to develop the skills necessary for teaching French, history, geography and Moral and Civic Education (EMC) in vocational high schools.
Training aims
This course is aimed at students wishing to train as teachers of literature, history and geography.
It allows them to follow a set of diversified courses allowing them to acquire and develop professional skills, to prepare for external CAPLP civil service recruitment competitions in history letters and to learn about and through research in the field of training in history and geography.
The training is based on an integrative logic linking courses and teaching content. Disciplinary and didactic learning are combined so that students can move from distanced reflection to professional practice.
The history - geography course offers, like all MEEF courses, a common core allowing students to access a shared culture, specific to the professions of teaching, education and training in the Reunion context.
It allows them to follow a set of diversified courses allowing them to acquire and develop professional skills, to prepare for external CAPLP civil service recruitment competitions in history letters and to learn about and through research in the field of training in history and geography.
