Training summary

The goal TC trains future middle managers capable of intervening in all areas stages of marketing a good or service: from market research to sales through marketing strategy, commercial communication, negotiation and customer relations. The BUT TC holder is versatile, autonomous and scalable. It covers sectors of activity linked to the professions of sales, marketing and communications.


 

Training aims

Graduates are trained to conduct marketing actions, communicate and sell a commercial offer,The objective of BUT TC is to train middle managers ready to enter the job market. Professional integration at the end of the three years of BUT is therefore entirely possible. The multidisciplinarity of this training is also a solid basis which allows students to consider continuing their studies.

Advantages of the training

By integrating a BUT, students benefit from an integrated 3-year course, without additional selection to reach the License grade.

The diploma is aligned with international standards and facilitates exchanges with foreign universities.

A University Diploma in Technology is awarded at the end of the second year.

With the BUT, the University Institutes of Technology (IUT) are strengthening their strengths: students continue to benefit from university and technological education supervised by experienced mixed teaching teams.

The course is always structured around professional situations and periods in business.

This training can be done alternately in the 2nd and 3rd years. Work-study is the opportunity to train and acquire a higher education diploma while benefiting from professional experience and remuneration.

Summary of lessons by course

The BUT TC is organized into three skill blocks common to both courses:

  • Marketing

  • Selling

  • commercial communications


Content specific to each course:

The BUT TC digital marketing, e-business and entrepreneurship course aims to train in digital commercial activities by developing skills in the piloting and management of these activities on the one hand, and in the development of digital commercial projects that can lead to the creation from a start-up on the other hand.

The BUT TC Marketing and point of sale management course aims to train students in sales space management by focusing training on the two major dimensions of the activity: the function of team leadership and management of the sales space. Graduates will be eligible for distribution careers in all types of points of sale.

Intership

22 to 26 weeks of internship in Reunion, in the Indian Ocean zone or abroad
2 or 3 internships in a company are to be carried out: 8 to 12 weeks over the first 4 semesters and 12 to 16 weeks over the last year
