Training summary

The VEU master's degree offers training ranging from design to management of innovative projects, in the service of town planning and the environment, and more particularly the interaction of the city and its environment. Indeed, urbanization and environmental quality in the area is a current issue of importance, given the lack of knowledge on the management of degraded anthropic environments in these particular areas.

Training aims

The main objective of our training is the professionalization of our students. The contents of the training are centered around themes identified as promising in terms of professional opportunities, for example, roads and various networks, territorial management, characterization of polluted sites, waste treatment and recovery, environmental impact assessment, and risk assessment.

In addition, the establishment of regulations in favor of biodiversity is giving rise to new professions linked to plant engineering. This scientific and technical management of interactions between the city and its environment is of particular importance in an environment with strong constraints such as island environments.

Advantages of the training

Transdisciplinary training involving a large number of urban planning stakeholders upstream and downstream of a sustainable construction project at several levels of responsibility (manager, senior manager). Strong link with the region, strong professional integration (80%) of our students six months post-graduation.
