Description of the WEU

Contemporary art is often considered a space of provocation, leading to misunderstanding and even rejection. This course aims to deconstruct preconceived ideas through the discovery of certain contemporary artists, their commitments (physical or intellectual), their audacity and the subjects they address in a committed manner. The various portraits covered will attempt to sweep away the themes that run through the art of our time: ecology, gender, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
