Description of the WEU
A physical and sporting activity strongly anchored in our national culture, Handball is defined as a collective activity of cooperation and opposition where the goal remains winning the match by one goal more (at least) than the opposing team. Values such as cohesion, cooperation, investment within a collective as well as humility in victory or acceptance of defeat remain to be developed socially in order to “live together” well. The demand on the player's ability to perceive and decide to act in an uncertain environment remains a dominant problem in handball. Its playful side, which should not be obscured, must give way to a practice of social (leisure) pleasure.
