UEO open to students in international exchange programs
For students in an exchange program, registration is made directly with the International Relations Department (without going through the registration platform dedicated to the UEO).
Description of the WEU
This UEO supports students by teaching them to use methods and tools to make them more effective in their information research and the writing of their academic work.
Objectives:
- Know and use the paper and digital resources of the BU
- Know how to set up an effective information search strategy (analyze a subject, find keywords, use search engines properly, set up information monitoring, flush out fake news, become aware of AI, etc.)
- Save time when writing your academic work by using dedicated tools and methods (Zotero for the bibliography, Libre Office Writer features for document layout)
- Know the basics of copyright and plagiarism necessary for writing your academic work

- Identification of a question within a disciplinary field
- Analysis of a question by mobilizing disciplinary concepts
