For students in an exchange program, registration is made directly with the International Relations Department (without going through the registration platform dedicated to the UEO).

Description of the WEU

The general objective of the course is to give students basic knowledge of Chinese geography and demography. The course is divided into two parts:

I. The Chinese space:

1. The physical geography of China and the environmental question.

2. The notion of the middle country and the representation of the Chinese space.

3. China and its borders, land and sea.

4. Geopolitics of China and relations with the United States.

5. The New Silk Roads and win/win politics.

II. The Chinese people:

1. The particular characteristics of Chinese civilization.

2. The historical origins of the Chinese population.

3. China's demographic situation and its new challenges.

4. The Chinese working population and the place of women.

5. The question of national minorities
