Description of the WEU
Hindi Language Learning - हिंदी भाषा
Official language of India (alongside English) Hindi, which belongs to the Indo-Aryan language family, is spoken by more than 400 million speakers in India; it is also present on other continents thanks to the numerous immigrant communities of varying lengths of time. It has an abundant and ancient literature in various dialects and, in a standardized form from the second half of the 19th century, it is enriched with a modern literature very varied in its genres and its themes, serves as a language of teaching in many schools or the language of communication in the media and cinema.
The training offered allows beginners to learn modern Hindi:
- Written/Oral: learning the spoken language and the technique of Hindi writing (knowledge and reproduction of characters).
- In grammar: an understanding of the basic grammatical structures on the specific elements of this language.
