Awarding of diplomas to the winners of the first class of the Professional License, Social Intervention

The University of Reunion Island, supported in its approach by the Fund for the Integration of Disabled People in the Civil Service (FIPHFP) and the National Association for the Management of the Fund for the Professional Integration of Disabled People (AGEFIPH), is pleased to celebrate its first class of graduates following the opening in 2023 of a work-study professional degree called "Social Intervention", "Support for People with Disabilities" course.

This new training related to the profession of disability advisor allowed the ten students holding the degree to perfect and/or acquire skills and knowledge related to this booming profession. Indeed, this national diploma offers the possibility for graduates to work in both public and private structures since the implementation of disability policies is in full development. For example, all apprentice training centers are required to have a disability advisor. The same applies to private companies with more than 250 employees.
and public institutions.

The disability referent is an internal resource whose action promotes the search for solutions to vulnerable situations. Of course, this training is part of the development of an inclusive society through better consideration of health, the development of universal accessibility, support for professional integration and the retention in employment of people with visible and invisible disabilities.

It is provided both at the North Campus of the University of La Réunion and remotely by teacher-researchers (human and social sciences and law), by the Digital Accessibility Officer of the University of La Réunion as well as by professionals from the public, private, associative and training sectors.
