The University Institute of Technology (IUT) of the University of Réunion celebrated this Friday, July 4
2025, the success of its 244 BUT (Bachelor of University Technology) graduates at the Domaine des Mille Cocos in Saint-Pierre. Nearly 600 people attended the event: graduates, families, teachers, administrative and technical staff, and IUT partners gathered for this highlight of university life.

Student Success

244 students graduated from the 252 enrolled in the third year of the BUT program. The overall third-year success rate is 3%. This ceremony was an opportunity to honor the graduates' achievements, punctuated by speeches from several students from the class, who reflected with emotion on their three years of training at the IUT.

Olivier MARC, a new step for the IUT of Reunion

Since September 2024, Olivier Marc has held the position of director of the IUT. His appointment marks a
new stage for the IUT, with the desire to continue the development of the training offer in connection
with the needs of the territory, to strengthen student success through technology and to strengthen
the positioning of the IUT as a leading technological university center, both locally and nationally and internationally.

The IUT would like to sincerely thank the companies that contributed to funding the 2025 Yearbook, which was presented to graduates: Logistisud, COT/SOREBRA, Centrakor, Gémo, Nocibé, S2 Sneackers Specialist, and GTOI.
During the evening, the IUT was also able to count on the support of COT/SOREBRA, and CILAM for the supply of drinks, SFR, for the provision of the 5G connection which enabled the live broadcast of the event as well as the Audiovisual, Multimedia and Digital Accessibility Department.
