The University is launching a public call for applications for the appointment of a person from outside the institution – who will sit in a personal capacity on the Training and University Life Commission (CFVU).

The CFVU participates in the development of the university's education and student life policy. It is consulted on rules relating to examinations, the evaluation of teaching, and measures promoting student success.

It adopts the distribution of the budget for resources intended for training, as allocated by the Board of Directors, subject to the strategic framework set by the latter.

It also adopts measures for the implementation of guidance, validation of acquired skills and professional integration of students, as well as measures aimed at improving the living and working conditions of students, particularly in terms of social, cultural, sporting and health support and access to documentary and digital resources.

It contributes to promoting actions to strengthen the links between science and society, carried out by students and teacher-researchers. It is responsible for the measures necessary for the reception and success of students with disabilities or with a disabling health condition.

*The composition of external personalities sitting on the same council must respect the obligation of parity between women and men.

2 – Terms of designation:

The external personality to whom this public call for applications refers will be designated individually by a vote to be held end of June / beginning of July 2025.

The 19 members of the Training and University Life Commission, staff representatives elected on December 12, 2024, the user representatives elected on March 09, 2023, the representative of the Leconte de Lisle high school, the representative of the DAC, and the external person appointed in a personal capacity on May 27, 2025 (male) will participate in this vote.

3 – The mandate

The mandate of external personalities ends at the same time as that of the representatives of the elected staff of the CFVU (4 years from the proclamation of the election results, provided that the mandates of the previous members have expired).

All external representatives are full members and have a deliberative vote. External representatives serve on a voluntary basis.

Application files must include the following 3 documents:

1. A copy of a valid proof of identity (passport, national identity card,
   driving license or residence permit if applicable).
2. An application form specifying the candidate's contact details (including a telephone number
   allowing the candidate to be contacted quickly) and developing the candidate's motivations.
3. A curriculum vitae (CV).
