This Monday, September 1st, IAE Réunion, the management school of the University of Réunion, welcomed Ms. Nathalie DELATTRE, Minister Delegate for Tourism, who came as part of her official visit to Réunion.

Welcomed by Mr. Jean-François HOARAU, President of the University of Réunion and Mr. Jérôme GARDODY, Director of IAE Réunion, the Minister was able to discover the history and specificities of this emblematic establishment of higher education on the island. 

An innovation laboratory serving tourism

A real highlight of the visit: a creativity session organized in the innovation room by the Tourism Innovation Laboratory; this time of exchange brought together members of the presidency of the University of Reunion, doctoral students from the university, institutional managers and economic players in the tourism sector. 

Together, the discussion focused on the major challenges facing tomorrow's tourism: innovation, sustainability, and applied research. These rich and constructive discussions brought together academic, institutional, and professional perspectives on new perspectives on the region.
