The University of Réunion and the Regional Directorate of Public Finance (DRFIP) of Réunion signed a framework agreement today to better inform, prepare, and support our students in careers in the state civil service, and more specifically in those within the DGFIP. This partnership is fully in line with our public service mission: to train, professionalize, and integrate, in the service of the region.

"Our university is a shared home. With the DRFIP, we are opening the door to public careers to our talents: from information to immersion, we are transforming guidance into a concrete and credible opportunity for the youth of Réunion," declares President Jean-François Hoarau.

Concretely, the agreement provides for the participation of the DRFIP in the university's Career Days, conferences and interventions in our competitive exam preparation programs (including Prépa Talents), at least two mock orals per eligible candidate, the hosting of three short internships per year, immersion days in preparation for the admission orals, as well as the possibility of work-study programs (BUT, professional licenses, masters). A steering committee will bring together the partners each year to evaluate and improve the system, effective from the 2025-2026 academic year.

This partnership builds on an already promising momentum: in Réunion, the success rate for the DRFIP competitive examinations is higher than the national average. The shared objective is clear: to raise awareness of these professions, better prepare our candidates, and strengthen the attractiveness of public sector careers on the island.

Through this useful alliance, the University of Réunion confirms its territorial roots: bringing together knowledge, skills and institutions so that each talent finds its way - and puts its expertise at the service of the common good.
