This initiative, the result of a collaboration between the University of Reunion, the prefectural authorities, the sub-prefecture dedicated to social cohesion, youth and disability, the Fund for the integration of disabled people into the public service, and the regional directorate for women's rights and equality, made an impression with the richness of the dialogues and the quality of the interactions.

The event brilliantly alternated between moments of formal speeches and more intimate exchanges, where Ms. HÉDON generously shared personal anecdotes, illustrating the challenges and victories inherent to her mission. These stories not only enlightened participants on the nuances of defending rights but also strengthened our community's ties to the universal values of justice and respect for human dignity.

We are proud to see that these meetings contribute to raising awareness, informing and mobilizing our university community as well as all stakeholders in Reunion society. We would like to warmly thank all the participants and in particular Ms. HÉDON, whose presence and commitment remind us of the importance of our civic role in defending the rights of each individual.

The University of Reunion is honored to have been the scene of these fruitful exchanges and remains committed to being a catalyst for enriching and constructive debates for our society.
