For the 5th consecutive year as part of the Fac des Sciences en Transition projects, the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies in partnership with the CROUS of La Réunion – Mayotte and the University of La Réunion, and in which the association Sur les traces de Thérésien Cadet participates, co-organized 6 days where students from the commune of Sainte Rose (Ecole Elémentaire Centre de Sainte Rose and Collège Thérésien Cadet de Piton Sainte Rose) and Sainte Clotilde (Ecole les Badamiers) discovered workshops around 3 Réunion themes: geology, botany and agriculture!

The 3 spaces have benefited for several years from educational improvements, throughout the year, thanks mainly to the involvement of our students, DLR staff and the financial support of the UFR-ST, the CROUS, the University, the CVEC CROUS, the FSDIE, the Association Sur les traces de Thérésien Cadet, the French Office for Biodiversity, the European Union, as well as donations from the Commune of Sainte Rose, the National Botanical Conservatory of Mascarin, the Domaine du Café Grillé and a few individuals.

The leaders of the Marmailles à la Fac project, for the past 5 years, are Fabrice Jacquard, a school teacher, and Anthony Finizola, a lecturer at the GéoSciences Réunion Laboratory at the University of Réunion.

There are 20 participants, almost all students, Alyson NATIVEL (L3SV), Anthony FINIZOLA (Lecturer, LGSR), Aurélie DE BERNARDY DE SIGOYER (L2ST), Balaviknesh NILAMEGAME (M2Géo), Cassandre ROBERT (L3 History), Emeline MAYEN (L1ST), Eugénie MARIQUIVOI (DLR), Houbour BEN AHMED (L3ST), Jean-Yannis DIJOUX (FST), Killian MUSSARD (M2 Natural Geological hazards and Risks, University of Grenoble), Loïc SINAMOUNY (L3SV), Louis CADET (L2SV, University of Montpellier), Ludivine BREZE (L2SV), Noémie PAYET (2nd ENERGY-Lab Intern), Quentin CHAMPAGNE (M2Géo), Rachel GUSSET (STTC), Rémi Féodon (DLR), Ridgechy BARAKA (L2SV), Shalini CATAPOULE (L2ST), Thibault THIERRY (L2ST), who participated in one or more of these 6 days, on June 10, 12, 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2025.

A total of 146 students from CP, CE1, CE2, CM2 and 4ème were welcomed with their teachers and some parents to the Moufia Campus, on the occasion of this season 5 of Marmailles à la Fac, where Science, discoveries and wonder were on the agenda!
