Inauguration of the Samuel FOSSO exhibition

This exhibition, on loan from the FRAC RÉUNION (Regional Contemporary Art Fund), is part of a logic of transmission and dissemination of knowledge inherent to the University. Playful, provocative and very accessible, the three series of self-portraits, African Spirits, 70's lifestyle and Tati are all opportunities for students, the university community and the general public to question the notions of identity, to confront contemporary creation and take another look at photography, selfies and the world around them.

Committed since its origin to the success of our territory, the University of Reunion has developed numerous artistic and cultural education activities within the Art & Culture department.

Involving students in the construction of their university careers and in the development of their professional projects, artistic education not only promotes the development of skills and knowledge but also contributes to individual development and social bonds on campus.

In the presence of the President of the University of Reunion, Frédéric MIRANVILLE, and representatives of partner communities, (Saint-Pierre Town Hall, Saint-Louis Town Hall, Departmental Council, Regional Council), the first day of this anniversary sequence This is continued by a visit to the next Health Campus in Terre-Sainte.

The Health campus should make it possible to promote links between health stakeholders in the region and to host a group of health training courses on site.

After the bioclimatic buildings on the Moufia and Tampon campuses, this new site continues the desire to build eco-campuses in Reunion.
