After several months of preparation and efforts to finance their trip, on March 22, 90 students from the GEA, TC and GC-CD departments took off on an exceptional study trip.

Destination: Montreal and New York, two iconic cities offering countless academic and professional opportunities.

An enriching and inspiring program:

• Visit to prestigious universities: This trip allowed students to broaden their horizons by discovering prestigious universities such as HEC Montréal, McGill, and Columbia. A valuable immersion into internationally renowned institutions.
• Meetings with expatriate Reunion Islanders: One of the highlights of the trip was the exchange with Grégory Larroque, originally from Saint-Pierre and now a vice president at CGI, a global leader in technology consulting. Other professionals also shared their experiences, giving the students a concrete insight into international opportunities.
• Discovering prestigious institutions: The students had the privilege of visiting Montreal City Hall and the Consulate General of France in New York, key places for understanding expatriate support and international relations.

A collective commitment to an ambitious project

This trip would not have been possible without the dedication of the students, who redoubled their efforts to finance their stay. Cake and coffee sales, partnerships with Air France and the Tipopei brand—all initiatives that made this project a reality.
Much more than just a stay, this experience will remain a turning point in their academic and professional careers. Ten days of intense immersion, rich in discoveries, encounters, and learning, will undoubtedly shape their future.
