An October open to the world with the International Mobility Days 2025!

For #ErasmusDays, the International Relations Department went to meet students on campus!

Throughout October, the International Relations Department (DRI) of the University of Reunion Island met with students at the Victoire site, the Terre Sainte, Tampon and Moufia campuses, on the occasion of the International Mobility Days.

Organised as part of #ErasmusDays, these days were a highlight for promoting mobility and encouraging students to have an international experience.

An immersion in international opportunities

These days allowed students to discover the many opportunities for going abroad – studies, internships, volunteering – but also to meet international students, former mobility participants and experts who came to share their advice.

Friendly and inspiring meetings

The program included:

  • The “Alon désot la mèr” information meetings, scheduled during lunch breaks, presented the mobility schemes and procedures;
  • The “Snack & Share!”, friendly moments of exchange between students over a small snack;
  • The Mobility Village, organized on the Moufia campus, brought together institutional players such as the Réunion Region, France Volontaires, the Regional Multi-Actor Networks, France Éducation International, as well as the Maison des Langues and the Confucius Institute of Réunion;
  • Cultural activities: exhibitions, screenings, themed meals and a "language wall" to celebrate cultural diversity.
  • The European-themed Happy Hour Quiz: a festive and intercultural event

An October focused on the world

The discussions continued online from October 20 to 31 with a series of thematic webinars dedicated to Erasmus+ programs, ISEP , Asia Exchange , PPI Quebec, CEGEP Québec, Meiji Japan, as well as to the support schemes provided by France Volontaires, the CRIJ, the Réunion Region and the Confucius Institute.

Several meetings for staff members of the institution were also organized to present the Erasmus+ mobility program

This 2025 edition brought together several hundred students and many staff members in person and remotely, confirming the growing interest in international mobility and the commitment of the University of Reunion to support the projects of all these audiences.
