Thursday February 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m., IRSAM La Ressource, the university's Equality Service and the university libraries offered a day of discovery of the world of the visually impaired and blind, on the Moufia campus.

Students and staff were invited to participate in various workshops, led by the IRSAM Association:

  • HandiCAR: mobile space bringing together different innovative and technological solutions;
  • Introduction to Braille: touch to understand and read differently;
  • Blind tour: to experience the world through the eyes of others with simulation glasses or under a blindfold
  • Scenario in daily life actions (differentiating coins, signing a check, telling the time, etc.)

At the BU Droit-Lettres, visitors were able to discover or rediscover the multisensory photographic exhibition “Being an author and actor of oneself” in the presence of photographer Stéfan Grippon. Produced by fifteen sensory impaired people from IRSAM La Ressource and enriched with tactile adaptations, visual and audio testimonies, this exhibition aimed to have young people with sensory disabilities practice an art that is often little or not accessible to them: photography.
