The Indian Oceanic Digital Institute (IIN) is the latest “born” of the fourteen components of the University of Reunion Island.

Created 5 years ago, the IIN develops actions aimed at stimulating, organizing, pooling and coordinating efforts around the digital side of the activity of the University of Reunion with the objective of expanding, thanks to digital , the accomplishment of the public service mission which is devolved to the establishment, particularly towards public who cannot physically go to the training sites.

The institute works in strong collaboration with the other components of the University to ensure the digitalization of training and also develops its own offer, meeting the needs expressed by the region and beyond.

This Friday, April 21, 2023, the Indian Oceanic Digital Institute signed its multi-year agreement of objectives and means in the presence of:

  • Mr. Vice-President of the Board of Directors in charge of general affairs, Professor Jean-Michel JAUZE
  • Mr. Director of the IIN and Deputy Vice-President in charge of digital uses and developments, Dr Olivier SEBASTIEN
  • Mr. President of the academic council, Professor Gilles LAJOIE
  • Mr. President of the University of La Réunion, Professor Frédéric MIRANVILLE

The teaching and administrative staff of the IIN also responded to this sequence which was continued by a time of discussion.
