The University of Reunion and the Réunion football league join forces for STAPS students

This Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in the presence of the Football Training Institute, represented by its Director Mr. Baptiste FAROCHE, the University of Reunion, represented by its Vice-President in charge of training and university life, Jérôme GARDODY and the Réunion Football League, represented by its President Mr. Yves ETHEVE, are committed to collaborating to offer students enrolled in a third year STAPS license course at the University of Reunion a training course adapted to obtaining the Football Monitor Certificate (BMF), level IV professional training registered with the RNCP and delivered by the French Football Federation.

This partnership between the University of La Réunion and the Réunion Football League allows STAPS students involved in clubs to gradually professionalize and integrate the federal sporting world after the 3 years of the License.

The BMF training is organized by the Réunion Football League under the aegis of the football training institute, which is responsible for the educational, administrative and financial coordination of the training. The training course is normally organized over 3 years, which corresponds to the duration of a license. For 3rd year undergraduate students at the University of
Reunion, the duration of the BMF training course is 48 hours of training which will be provided as follows: The Réunion Football League will provide an hourly volume of 32 hours and the University of Reunion, 16 hours.
