The University of Reunion is committed to biodiversity

500 trees planted on the Tampon campus, i.e. 1% of the final objective

This Thursday, May 4 in the morning, the University of Reunion via the eco-campus mission organized a series of plantings on the Tampon campus as part of the “1 million tree plan” partnership agreement signed with the Department of The meeting. This day was a success thanks to the active participation of students and colleagues at the university.

Engineers from the Department of Reunion, the Logistics and Reprography Department and representatives from the Eco-campus Pole were also present to participate in the event.

Together, no less than 500 endemic trees were planted to help biodiversity regain its place and continue to beautify the living environment of the Buffon university community.

This initiative made it possible to contribute to the preservation of the environment and to participate in concrete action on one of our campuses. We are proud to see that so many people are committed to this cause.

A big thank you to all the volunteers for their presence and their commitment during this important day.

We are delighted to see that our eco-campus is in good hands and we will continue to work together for the ecological and environmental transition of our university: next step, the Moufia campus!
