Presentation, objective(s):

The objective of MAP-IO is to study the composition of the atmosphere and ocean-atmosphere processes having an impact on regional climate and numerical weather prediction.

This scientific program is based on the banking of oceanic and atmospheric data by equipping the ship Marion DUFRESNE with 19 long-lasting and autonomous atmospheric measurement systems.

MAP-IO is coordinated by LACy and brings together a consortium of 8 research laboratories and 19 scientists.
