Intergenerational breakfast

For the first time on the Tampon campus, the Quality of Life Department and the Department of Student and Campus Life have invited you to participate in an intergenerational breakfast.

The strategy carried out by the University of La Réunion for the current term is fully in line with increased satisfaction of students and staff in their studies, activities and projects, thus having a positive impact on the success of each person in their career. This dynamic requires strengthening the feeling of belonging of all stakeholders to our university community by focusing our action in particular on the quality of both professional and student life on our campuses.

In this logic, this Thursday, February 23 on the Tampon campus, the Quality of Life Service (SQV) and the Department of Student and Campus Life (DVEC) joined forces to organize a unique event within our establishment: the first “Intergenerational Breakfast”. This convivial action, offered to students as well as staff, enabled the gathering of more than 500 people between 07:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., thereby strengthening the social bond between colleagues and students.

By promoting short supply chains, mainly organic and fresh products were offered to ensure a complete and balanced breakfast served in a dedicated, welcoming space conducive to discussions as well as health prevention. The success of this first event is also that of numerous volunteers from student associations, willing and committed, whose essential participation underlines the shared vision of a united community within our establishment, to all, a big thank you!

We are already looking forward to meeting you for the next “intergenerational breakfast” which will be held on Thursday March 02 in the square of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences on the Moufia campus from 7:45 a.m.
